How do I use my money

I use my money principally to put money in my transport card. It is absolutely necessary because I need travel all days at university in the Metro.

When I eat anything in the lunch I try to spend little money, for example buy only an hamburger and a little juice. But it is not necessary always, because my boyfriend invites me to lunch, and he prepares the delicious food.

All months I receive a student grant (PAE) and I saving $10 thousand. If I need money someday I spend of my saving money. And if I collect a lot of money, I could travel at some place in the next summer holidays.

My mother know that I save money, so when she needs money, she says me: Do you want me to lend money? And I talk back: Yes, but when you pay it back? Is not really important when she come back my money, but I like ask it her.

If I want buy clothes for example, my father buy it me, and if I want more things so share the costs, for example, if the shoes cost $20 thousand, he pay $10 thousand and I the other half.

Facebook and I

I think that facebook is a great tool. It´s permit me communicate whit different persons that are "my friends" and found persons that I have not seen in a long time, for example classmates to my old school when I studied in my infance.

Facebook informer my about their activities and things to thinks my friends.
In occasions, with my classmates of geography we communicate for facebook, because permit sends messages at a group of persons. Thus we know the information about a work or other new that someone wants to say.

This tool notice when a friend is on birthday, thus I can send a message to my friends says: Happy Birthday, I hope that this day have been spectacular to you!

Hare I can show my family, my work, my studies, the music that I like, my favorite TV program, my telephone number, etc. My friends can see my information, and also I can see their information.

Is important configure security. I share the persons that can view my things or my photographs. Are some people that don’t have the security activated. I think that is very dangerous, because a predator can see this information, especially when little boys give their direction and interests.

In my case mu little brother (he have 6 years old) have facebook, buy only uses it to play. And he says my that plays with him.

My mothers don’t like the computer, she only review that my brother not shut down it in wrong way.

My most unusual journey

The last summer I travelled to Norte Chico. I went arrond La Serena, Punta de Choros, Alto del Carmen, Copiapo and Bahia Inglesa whit my boyfriend and his family. We travelled in a comfortable car that was drive by my boyfriend an my father-in-law. During the journey we saw a lot of wales un Punta de Choros, then we visited a little vineyard and we learnt how craft pisco is made, later we crossed the desert. That was exciting!. And the last day we stayed in Bahia Inglesa, a wonderful beach. Personaly, I will highlight a pair of situatios: - I ate a lot of shimp pais. - I drunk the real craft pisco, Bou Barroeta. That was incredible! - I never had bathed in the see next to the fishes. That was so unusual. Was special traveling with my boyfriend make the journey very special for me. It was our first journey together. I hope this trip will not be the last

My Favourite Website

I use differents websites to make differents things, for example:

To do any search, I use google because its understand me xD

with this website I can find everything ! And generally prefer wikipedia to the works of the school and the university, because here I can found bibliographies, reviews, history, etc.

To complete the works in english, I prefer the web diccionary of wordreference because the definitions are according the context and is a fast search.

Other website that I use frecuently is facebook, all the days when I can open it. Initially this website was created to find contacts for his name (especially profesionals contacts), for example former classmates. Today in facebook I add all my friends, classmates and family; sometimes peeple wants / or I want to know. It is the principal objetive of this website, but it have a lot of more aplicatios, you can write about you, play any player, share images... And all that you do, is published in "the wall" so that friends can see it.

I found facebook because a friend suggested it me.

I like it because everyday is something new, because the friends do news things, for example invitations to any event. But sometimes facebook is very "sapo" and publish things that I don´t like know.

Most people that I know, have facebook, and so it is easier to communicate.

Great holiday

This year I went the best holidays that I remember, because when I did have about 12 years old, with my family visited the sourt of Chile, but I don't have much memories of it.

In january, after to my birthday, with a friend we took a flight fron Santiago to Arica (we left early, but very happy). It was the first time that I traveled in a plane.. and I think that it was a great experience =)

When we arrived to Arica, Francisca was waiting for us. She led we to her house in her car. Her family us received very good, we ate some curious foods.

The days that we were en Arica, visited the beaches (in the day and in the night), the center of Arica, the valleys of Azapa (here had a lot of acid olives !) and LLuta, the Arica's Morro and more; but the more fantastic place was the altiplano, we got to the lake Chungara, on the road saw llamas, alpacas and in the lake: parinas. We traveled with the Francisca's father and with her brother, because she not long ago had hoperated... Here you can't walk fast because with the alture you can't breathe so good... I bought a lot of gifts to my family !

It was one week with much adventure, I met a lot of beautifull places and I enjoyed all.

When I arrive to Santiago all the landscape found strange...

My Exposition

In my exposition I felt so nervious, but how the topic I like it is not so dificult.
I think that could be best, I have some problems with my computer... but it is not important.

This activity was so funny, because we have an idea of the hobbies to the classmates and some were bery curious, I don´t thought for example that Felipe likes swim.

In my exposition I showed the food that I like, and some food that I don´t like, as well photographies of the persons that lunch with me frecuently (my friend Fran, my boyfriend and my family).

To rest

Todoy I think that I should to rest.


This week I had been to study a lot (and my classmates too) and I did not sleep a wink !, but... I will likle to dance today... I need some disctraction... and my mother said me: No ! You have to rest.


Ok... tomorrow we (my family) will travel to Curico, because it is my mother's birthday... My father and my uncles going to buy a pork and soda. My grandparents will be happy when we arrive to the camp...


I think that I shoul rest... but prefer eat ! And when my stomach be full how this toad I going to sleep, but for 3 days ! (hopefully, because I have to read some texts)

Perhaps the clean air, the animals, the blue sky, the hearth and the fruit could help me.

I think that a good form to spend time is share with the family or the friends in funny places, because when I am in my bedroom only use the computer (msn, facebook.. and.. wikipedia?). Only my little brother bother me... he give my a hug, a kiss or some sweet.

The music as well could be a good alternative, but I only will to lintening a cow and a hen. xD

The haunted table

This photograph was taken in Parinacota in a old historic church. The people of this city said that this table is hunted because in the nights appeared in any house, and in the morning, in this house appeared someone dead. Actually this table is to tie at a wall, and this wall is weared out.
If you visit this church and touch this table, you going to dream whit this ! . Because of this I have this face in the photograph.

But I never dreamed with this table, only was a little scare.

The photo was tooked for my friend Catalina, we traveled to Arica in the summer of this year. We visit a lof of beautifull places whit Francisca, she was ours guide, but when I visit the Altiplano, Francisca was sick in her house, only traveled with his father and brother, knows great pleaces.

I never before was visit the nort ! and I wasn't been traveled by plane either. It was a great experience =)

Greece

I would like to visit Greece because is a country that about its we learned from the school. Visit this could be interesting because a lot of the sistems that we have, comming from Greece, specially the philosophy. Know this territory where lived a lot of important figures, and where had developed the knowledge.

I would like to do a tour for the historic pleaces and the beaches, eat curious food, buy gifts and tacke a lot of photographs. I would visit Atenas, Rodas, Corfu, Corinto and Salonica (as well visit the museums).

If I could visit Greece, as well could know other continent, but the climate are not so different at central Chile. The architecture is very different and the culture too. In this moment Greece is in crisis, but the beautifull places are ok !

Family Reunion

My family is very united, we always get together to eat rice with chicken the sundays, and all the birthdays they arrive to your house full of laughter and gifts.

My grandmother is so crazy... but is for the age..

My aunts, uncles and cousins are very affectionate (and only a little fats.. ).

If you said any boring joke, the olives farts will flying to you.

Watch football TV is so complicated, not all are of the same team, and always someone who is sad.

All the 18 of september we do activities (for example career of sacks, the egg with the spoom, etc.) and eat a lot !!

Christmas and the new year also are a familyary party (the costumes are a good option)

Sometimes I can not spend time with them, because I have to study, and they are so noisy.

I like to spend time with them... it is a constant party =)

Notting Hill

This film is a mixture of comedy and romance.

A bookseller called William Thacker (Hugh Grant), have his bookstore in Notting Hill. A day was visited for the famous actress Anna Scott (Julia Roberts). These day she tooks a book. and his love.

William live with a friend so crazy (Spike), and generaly visit to other couple friends, she in wheelchair, and he only love her.

The word of William is so quiet and simple, whereas Anna work in Hollywood and appear in display advertisement. Then that they to met sometimes, they are absolutly falling in love, but he wait her years, and she dont appear in Notting Hill until Anna return to film, William ran in, but she dont look his. whereas he looks she, listened a conversation... She said that Willian are not important.

About 2 days ago, she visit William to said: I am only a woman, that like to be loved. But William was so confused and rechaced her.

William then to speak with his friends, decided look for she. And declared his love in a press conference. They maked a live together.

I saw this film for first time with a friend, in her house meantime we ate chocolate.

I like this story, because show the diferents social words, a simple man can won the hert to famous actress in the end.

It is better than other movies because isn`t so sweet, and is funny.

Tsunami alert?

After had seen Ricardo Arjona on the TV with my boyfiend and his family in Papudo (Valparaiso Region), I went to sleep. There were many people in the house. For that, I had to sleep in a inflatable mattress. At 03:34 I heard a strange scream. My boyfriend is calling me. "Gracia, is shaking. Stand up now". But I just wanted to sleep. "Gracia, It's an Earthquake, please stand up" But I was sleeping. Someone hold me and carried me to the yard. Suddenly, the people began to run across the road, to the hills. Police turned on the beacons. I realized that I couldn't sleep any more.

I tried to call to my parents, but the lines are colapsed. Maybe they was thinking that something bad happened me. But that didn't worry me. A tsunami was coming to me (or that I thougth). My father-in-law said that we had to escape of this place, because it was so dangerous. We tried to tune on the radios, but we only tuned Argentinean AM radios. We relaxed when the police said that te tsunami alert was cancelled

I didn't realize that the shake was a big earthquake. When I could see the TV, I was in shock. I really realize what the earthquake did.

I think that my country reacted as well I expect. I couldn't ask less to my beautyful country.

My grandparents live in "La Orilla", it is a great place between Curico and Hualañe.

I Always visit this place with my family. Here we can climb the hills, walk in the grove (also eat fruits), swim in the river "mataquito", look for the cows, give maize to the chicks... and more; but the best is the peaceful (sleep here only with the silence is fantastic). When I was a child, I played with my cousins and we ran between the trees.

Today my grandparents' house is in repair, because the earthquake shook the tiles off the roof, but everything else is ok.
